It’s almost time for the BIG game this weekend, woohoo! We typically stay home for the Super Bowl and play-off games. I actually enjoy watching football (it is one of the few sports I enjoy watching and actually understand). So we are planning to stay in, BBQ some flank steak and graze on appetizers. I’ll probably make some chip, dip, veggies and maybe some bacon wrapped jalapeño thingies (see below).
If you are trying to figure out what to make or bring to your next Super Bowl Party or any party…you are in luck! Here are a few of my favorite game-day recipes:
EASY MAIN DISHES FOR A CROWD
Taco Salad {MEXICAN MOUNTAINS}
Flank Steak – This is great with garlic bread, a favorite potato side dish (like THIS one) & a salad
SNACKS & APPETIZERS
Paige’s Soft Pretzels – These would be amazing with nacho dip if you are already making it
Special, Special Cheese Rounds
Road Trip Chick Dip (CORN SALSA)
Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Thingies | from the Pioneer Woman
Homemade Ranch Dressing | The Pioneer Woman
Veggies & Dip are a favorite around here. Cutting the veggies yourself (if you have the time) makes a big difference in flavor & freshness! The pre-made veggie trays don’t always have the best tasting veggies but work in a pinch. I used a good quality pre-made ranch for the dip (we also love onion dip and Bitchin sauce and the Costco artichoke-jalapeno dips). But again, if you have time the Pioneer Woman’s ranch is YUMMY!
