JUNE
June was a busy month. It started with Grant’s 8th grade promotion. Then Aaron and I took Paige to NYC for a few days. We came home and quickly regrouped for our annual summer vacation at Hume Lake with friends. We also had a laundry room mold remediation and demo (there was a slow leek that caused some damage and mold in our little laundry room right off the kitchen). The weather stayed cool and we happily slipped into the extremes of summer- buys or lazy (slipping in and out of travel chaos or complete chill in front of a screen or good book). The sunsets did not disappoint either.
JULY (8 on 10)
Then before we knew it..boom…July. Travel & “the virus” were the themes of this month. Promptly on July 1st we were off to Dallas for a theater conference and competition. We had a really fun time and as that trip was winding down and we were headed to Oklahoma to visit family I came down with the virus that shall not be named (like Voldemort – we only secretly whisper it’s name with contempt). Actually, I did get pretty sick and this travel day home was my best attempt at capturing the day through the lens of (10 on 10) while also feeling pretty terrible.
