Every summer we take off for a week and stay at Hume Lake Christian Camps with our best friends from college. We typically stay in cabins {although we have camped as well}. It usually consists of three families {this year was only two}, great memories, late nights, fishing, s’mores, laughter, chaos, relaxation, perfect weather, beauty, God’s abundant presence, coffee, milkshakes and burgers, lazy days and I could go on & on! This year was as wonderful as we expected and we were able to squeeze in a fun little photo shoot of our family. The pictures are not perfect but they are pretty fun and the scenery could not be more beautiful. I love thinking of baby boy being with us next year {instead of making me an exhausted pregnant mama this year}! The tradition of going to this gorgeous lake every year is something our whole family looks forward to…we are beginning to feel like summer is not summer without our beloved HUME!
