During the Memorial Day weekend we got to hang with Nana & Papa in Sacramento for a quick and fun trip! The highlight was hanging out at The California State RAILROAD MUSEUM…although walking around the grounds of the State Capital and Old Town were fun too! We ate at two great restaurants. The first night we had some incredible Mediterranean cuisine at the mouth watering Luca. I would go back again in a heartbeat. The second night we devoured our food at the delicious Thai Basil Cafe. There were some good options for kids and a wonderful variety of Thai dishes. This travelBUG was a happy girl!
My family lived in Durango, Colorado when we were little and this cool train hat was my little Brother’s. Some of our fondest memories are going on the Durango-Silverton Train. So fun to have this little hat to remember those days!
If you have not made it to the Train Museum I recommend you check it out. It’s filled with history, enormous trains and some great miniature toy train displays as well. Fun for old and young.
All I know is that we loved the trains, Nana & Papa and the fun of being in our State Capital!
