It’s time for some new playlists now that December is over and Valentine’s Day is almost here. I love to have my music reflect the season. As I move through the year I change the colors, flowers, scents, decor & plants around my house to remind me & my family of the mood the each season reflects. I do this with my playlists as well (like with my WINTER playlist).
In this moody, slow, quiet winter I like slower songs and quiet. I have a desire to get cozy and home and go to bed a little earlier- my HOME playlist or my QUIET SONGS playlist both go great with this mood. I also love my WINTER WORSHIP songs in this mood or really anytime of the day. Worship music always helps me refocus on the Lord- what a gift.
On the other hand, if it’s been gloomy or I’ve been home too much I can get a little down. During these days I need a pick me up and I play my FUN playlist to brighten my mood. It makes for great cooking music or spontaneous dance parties too.
And of course when love is in the air with Valentine’s Day I enjoy listening to my LOVE SONGS playlist. I find love songs are great for a car ride or dinner party music as well.
